June 25th, 2018 – 2018 Inter-company football tournament

POK Team spirit

On Saturday June 9th, 2018, the 4th edition of the Inter-company Football Tournament was held in Nogent-sur-Seine. This tournament organised jointly by the EDF nuclear power station in Nogent-sur-Seine and the Football Club Nogentais is an opportunity for the employees of Nogent-sur-Seine companies to meet and compete on the field with fair play.

During the day, 16 teams met on the field in a sporting and fair-play spirit. Local companies such as EDF, SAIPOL or SOUFFLET and even the Nogent-sur-Seine Fire Brigade were present.

As early as 9:00 am, the two POK® teams, composed of motivated employees ready to take up this challenge, were gathered at the Roger Couderc stadium in Nogent-sur-Seine for a warm-up session.

This gathering was a unique opportunity for our employees to meet outside their workplace. Once the games were announced, the POK team players took their places on their respective fields and the kick-off was given. Our employees have redoubled their efforts on the field to face teams already used to this tournament.

Once all the matches were completed and the ranking established, the trophies were presented to the participants by a few company managers, but also by officials, like Sébastien Mouilley, 4th deputy mayor of Nogent-sur-Seine and sports delegate. The Managing Director of POK, Alexandra Grandpierre, was present. Two trophies were awarded to our teams and we proudly installed them in the company’s showroom.

After a day full of emotions, cohesion prevails and good spirits suggest that what was a first participation for POK, will not be the last. All of our employees, players and supporters, are delighted to have taken part in this tournament. This event demonstrated the team spirit and values that drive all POK employees. We put this energy at the service of our customers every day.
